FABIAN EDELSTAM
"THE STREAM OF
CONSCIOUSNESS"
EXHIBITION ON DISPLAY IN
CANSALAS GALLERY & ART HOUSE - ES GARATGE
FROM SEPTEMBER 16TH 2026.
The Stream of Consciousness has evolved organically throughout 2026, bringing together images and references that move across different periods, places and cultural moments.
At its centre is contemporary Europe, a moment of political and cultural uncertainty, set alongside echoes of 18th-century portraiture, the Parisian scene of the early 1990s, pop culture and fragments from the artist’s travels in India.
Rather than following a fixed narrative, the exhibition unfolds through association. Past and present, beauty and unease, the personal and the collective appear side by side, connected by a continuous stream of images, memories and impressions.
